Turkel Committee approves Yossi Cohen as new Mossad chief

The Turkel Committee on Senior Civil Service Appointments has given its approval for Yossi Cohen to serve as the new head of the Mossad.

In order to make its decision the committee, under the chair of retired Supreme Court Justice Jacob Turkel, met with Cohen, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, outgoing Mossad head Tamir Pardo.
