Yisrael Beytenu chairman MK Avigdor Liberman on Thursday evening lit Hanukkah candles at an event organized by the World Beytenu and Young Beytenu organizations.
Liberman said that "the important moral of the victory of the Maccabees over the Greeks and Hellenists is that spirit prevails over substance, so if we go by what we believe in - we will defeat all our enemies."
