The Philippines has fired 21 police officers for allegedly serving as "co-conspirators" in a massacre six years ago.
According to an official statement, the officers did not stop the son of a warlord from killing 58 people, including 32 journalists, in November 2009.
A court found 20 of the officers guilty of grave misconduct. It concluded that the other one heard gunshots but did not report them to his superiors. He was fired over a lesser charge.
