The Ometz organization demanded on Wednesday that the Attorney General open an investigation against Welfare Minister Haim Katz.
“In light of the recent State Comptroller report which slammed the Welfare Minister’s conduct with respect to Israel Aerospace Industries workers, the Minister reprimanded Ori Yogev, Chairman of the Israel National Economic Council Advisory Committee. Katz called Yogev ’corrupt’ and a ‘hooligan.’ We view this as a severe crime of embarrassing a public worker and request that you instruct the police to open an investigation on the matter,” he said.
