Histadrut labor federation Chairman Avi Nissenkorn and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon reached an agreement regarding the conflict surrounding a decision to cancel collective long-term care insurance packages. A strike has thus been avoided.
Kahlon and Nissenkorn held a press conference on the matter on Wednesday afternoon, during which they announced that the implementation of the Finance Ministry’s long-term care insurance program will be delayed by one year.
