The head of the Histadrut, the head of the Ministry of Transportation's National Committee, and the head of the Driving Tester Association, the three agreed on a number of efficiency measures for 130 driving testers across the country.
Starting today (Tuesday), the number of practical tests will increase from 14 to 16 per day, in addition to increasing the number of testers who work on Fridays. This translates into about 70,000 extra tests per year.
The meeting was called after Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz (Likud) called for reforms.
