Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal on Sunday night called for unity for the sake of the struggle and the intifada.
"We are in an historical moment and it is a duty to support the intifada," Mashaal said in an interview with Al Jazeera, adding that "the intifada unites the people and it will continue as long as the occupation continues."
