MK Yael Cohen Paran (Zionist Union) on Sunday wrote to the senior editor of the Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA), Shimon Elkabetz, and to Attorney General, Yehuda Weinstein, asking them to prohibit the airing of advertisements supporting the gas outline on IBA channels.
"It is inconceivable that the IBA will serve as the voice of the gas companies. It is a shame that the IBA did not exercise discretion and instead fell prey to the interests of the wealthy," said Cohen Paran.
