Regional polls in France have found that an unprecedented large portion of the population supports the far-right National Front (FN) party.
In at least six of the 13 regions studied, 27.2 to 30.8 percent of respondees say they they support FN, AFP reports.
The party, which was originally strongly associated with anti-Semitism, has come to focus more on anti-immigration.
