U2 lead singer Bono says that he has written a song about the ISIS attack in Paris, which he will debut during the band's performance in the city today (Sunday).
U2 was scheduled to perform the day after the attack in which 130 people were killed, but they quickly rebooked the AccorHotels Arena for both today and tomorrow. The hall can hold 16,000 attendees.
"We think rock and roll has a part to play, so going back to Paris to us is not just symbolic. I think we're actually starting the process of resistance, of defiance against this movement," guitarist the Edge told CNN.
The song is called "Streets of Surrender" and also includes references to Syrian refugees.
