Natural gas companies in Egypt will pay Israel's Power Company $1.76 billion for transporting supplies, Associated Press reports.

Egyptian companies ceased selling Israel natural gas in 2012 due to frequent terrorist attacks on the pipeline. In response, the Power Company sued Egyptian companies EGPC and EGAS for $4 billion for the losses it incurred.

An international arbitrator has looked into the case and ruled that the Power Company is owed $1.76 billion plus interest.
