The Greek Parliament voted on Saturday night in favor of the country’s 2016 state budget, which includes cuts worth nearly six billion euros and a raise in taxes.
The government committed to ease up slightly on the country’s austerity measures, once the country receives an 86 billion euro monetary aid package from other European countries.
