Mullah Akhtar Mansour, the leader of the Taliban in Afghanistan, was reportedly injured when a fight broke out among military commanders in Pakistan, AFP reports. The fight resulted from a verbal argument among different groups within the Taliban.
"Mansour was seriously injured. He was rushed to hospital and we are not sure if he survived his wounds," said the spokesperson for Afghanistan's vice president.
A spokesperson for the Taliban denied that the firefight occurred.
