French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve says that a government operation against extremism has shut down three mosques "on grounds of radicalization."
One of the mosques was located 35 kilometers from Paris. Police confiscated a handgun, Islamist propaganda, and a computer hard drive from the building. According to Cazeneuve, the mosque also providing unauthorized schooling.
