Suicide bombing in Baghdad kills nine, wounds 21

A suicide bombing Monday at a checkpoint in northern Baghdad killed nine people, including four soldiers, and wounded 21 others. 

Iraqi officials said the attack targeted Shiite Muslims taking part in an annual pilgrimage.
