Russian security forces say they killed three ISIS members in the Republic of Dagestan. Dagestan is a Russian federal subject in the northern Caucasus, east of Georgia.
One of the dead terrorists returned from fighting in Syria earlier this year.
According to police, about 3,000 Russian citizens are fighting alongside ISIS in Syria, most of whom come from Dagestan.
