MK Nahman Shai (Zionist Union), a member of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, has responded to Prime Minister Netanyahu's decision to suspend political contact with European Union institutions.
"Netanyahu has set off for another lost battle. After he failed in his public fight with President Obama, he is striving against European Union institutions because of the guidelines for labeling products," said MK Shai. "As severe as the product labels may be, it does not justify severely damaging Israel's relationship with the European Union. The Prime Minister is single-handedly leading Israel to international isolation."
