Residents of Hamburg vote against hosting 2024 Olympics

Residents of the Germany city of Hamburg have voted against campaigning to host the 2024 Olympics.

Should the city host the Games, it would be expected to cost more than $7.5 billion.

The winning city will be announced in 2017.
