Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein ruled on Sunday evening that Environment Minister Avi Gabai will not be allowed to stand before the Knesset’s Economics Committee and express his opposition to the gas outline approved by the government.

Weinstein ruled that Gabai will have to agree with government policy when he attends the Economics Committee’s consultations under Article 52 of the Law that would allow Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is also Economy Minister, to bypass the Antitrust Commissioner.
