The army in Macedonia has begun to build a metal fence along the country’s border with Greece, in an attempt to prevent migrants from using the country as a gateway to western Europe.
Local soldiers are erecting the fence, which is similar to the fence put up by Hungary along its border with Croatia and Serbia.
