The residents council of Jerusalem’s Old City slammed the Police Department’s conduct and said that Sunday morning’s terror attack at Damascus Gate is “The direct result of the Police Department’s powerlessness and a decrease in forces implemented in the past week.”
“Additional security forces must be returned to the Old City at once in order to ensure our security, which has currently been abandoned.”
