The Ministerial Committee for Legislation will discuss MK Miki Levy's (Yesh Atid) proposal to restrict the placement of cellular antennas on private apartments.

According to the bill, an antenna will only be allowed in a shared building on the condition that most of the apartment owners agree. In addition, it will be possible to circumvent the owners' agreement by going to the Land Registration Commissioner should the agreement's conditions be unreasonable.

"Homeowners in shared buildings have the right to decide if they want to live next to a cellular antenna," said MK Levy. "We are talking about a decision that could affect their health and the health of their families, and we cannot take that away from them."
