The official anti-terror prosecutor of Italy, Franco Robert, says that the European Union needs to appoint a prosecutor to focus on investigations into where terrorists get their funding.
Robert says, "It's not possible that a country can do everything by itself in the fight against terrorism." Instead Europe as a whole must "tighter cooperation and harmonization of international laws."
He added that the efforts should focus on "money-laundering and fiscal paradises because it's there where the problem lurks."
