Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has announced that Russian planes will be completely forbidden from Ukrainian airspace. Russian airlines have been banned from landing in Ukraine since October, but they will now not be allowed to fly over the country either.
Earlier today, Russian gas giant Gazprom declared that it will no longer supply gas to Ukraine because it has not received its payment in advance.
The fighting between Ukraine and pro-Russian separatists has left more than 8,000 dead.
