The Education Ministry expressed its sorrow following the death of the Kfar Saba 8th grade student who committed suicide after not being able to participate in her class trip due to her family’s financial situation.
Education Ministry CEO Michal Cohen instructed the formation of a special committee to investigate the circumstances surrounding the student’s death. She also instructed district professionals to accompany and support the bereaved family.
