Opposition leader Yitzhak Herzog met on Tuesday with US Secretary of State John Kerry.
Herzog told Kerry that “Israel has the right to strike back against terrorism with force,” and added that “We cannot only defend ourselves. We must disconnect from the Palestinian Arabs. We must disconnect from the death hug between us. An Israeli leader who does not understand this, who does not date and is not capable of taking advantage of historic opportunities that stand before us, cannot lead the State of Israel.”
