Somali pirates have hijacked an Iranian fishing vessel carrying 15 crew members, a Somali official told Reuters on Monday.
The ship was taken hostage on Sunday evening in waters off the northern Somali city of Eyl, said Abdirizak Mohamed Dirir, director of the anti-piracy and seaport ministry in Somalia's semi-autonomous Puntland region.
