Ahead of a Knesset vote on the conscription law, Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid attacked coalition ministers and MKs prepared to repeal sanctions against haredim who refuse to enlist.
"A week full of security issues, when there are funerals, and people being rushed to the hospital," Lapid said at the start of Yesh Atid's faction meeting. "While security forces are stretched to the limit, it is on this day the Israeli Knesset will vote against IDF soldiers and fighters."
