Four to seven people were killed in the Burundi capital of Bujumbura last night (Saturday). Associated Press reports that gunfire and explosions can still be heard around the city.
The East African country has been rocked by violence since President Pierre Nkurunziza announced in April that he will campaign for a third term.
Local activists blame the police for the deaths, saying that they are targeting the president's opponents.
