Travelers at Paris's Garde du Nord train station were shocked to hear noises that some say sounded like gunfire, Associated Press reports. Passengers reportedly fled from the trains out of fear that another terror attack, similar to that which occurred last Friday, was starting.
Local authorities explained that the sound was caused by a pigeon that came in contact with the train tracks and was electrocuted. There is no information on the pigeon's health.
