Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked responded on Friday afternoon to news of Jonathan Pollard's release.

"This Shabbat will begin with the good news about the release of Jonathan Pollard. 30 years of perversion of justice ended today and Pollard left prison to the arms of his wife. Over the past few decades, many worked day and night to secure his release. I was privileged to lead the lobby for his release and this is an exciting, festive and special event," she said.
