An explosion rocked the history Yemeni fortress city of Shibam today (Friday), causing ten casualties. There is no information yet on how many of the ten were killed and how many wounded.
No one has taken responsibility for the attack as of this time, though officials blame al-Qaeda. Al-Qaeda has been conquering large amounts of territory in the Hadramawt Province, where Shibam is located.
