Bernie Sanders, the Jewish American Senator running against Hillary Clinton for the head of the Democratic Party, slammed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and said that his response to the rockets fired at Israel during Operation Protective Edge was “exaggerated.”
Sanders told Rolling Stone magazine that he believes Netanyahu exaggerated. “The Israelis have very advanced weapons systems. They claim- and I honor their claims, that they are attempting to ensure that civilians are not hurt. But, at the end of the day, the result is that many civilians were killed. Many homes were damaged.”
