A collective agreement was signed between the workers union of Jerusalem’s light rail, the Histadrut labor federation and the company’s management to improve the working condition of the train’s drivers.
The deal, valid until July 2019, raises most of the drivers’ salaries by 21.5% to 44 shekels per hour. In addition, full-time drivers will be paid by month, not by hour.
