The United States transferred intelligence to Italy regarding sites in the country that are likely to be potential terror targets.
The American Embassy in Rome also issued a warning to Americans currently in Rome, according to which “Terror groups are likely to act in manner similar to the way terrorists attacked in Paris.” That being said, an official Italian source made it clear that there is no intelligence regarding a specific impending attack.
