Yesh Atid director Ofer Shelah has responded to the reports about canceling the equal service law.
"The opinion of the legal advisor to the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, who as the advisor to the Shaked Committee helped develop the equal service law, proves what we have claimed from the first moment: The deplorable amendment that the government is bringing is not unconstitutional, doesn't stand up to the Supreme Court's requirements, and will do irreparable morale and practical damage," said MK Shelah.
He continued: "We will continue fighting it in the Knesset, in the street, and in the courts."
