Charges were filed against Avichai Katz, who served as a top investigator at Jerusalem’s Police Department, for attacking a driver detained for suspected intoxication, found in possession of a gun.
Katz and another officer were also charged with obstruction of justice for writing a false police report the driver’s face, as well as regarding the circumstances surrounding the event.
