Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz (Likud) has commented on the government's decision to ban the northern branch of the Islamic Movement.
"For years I led the fight to ban the Islamic Movement's northern branch and now it has happened," said Katz. "Any country that wants to defend itself cannot allow extremist movements to erode its central foundations. There is a difference between enlightenment and suicide, as the rench have now learned the hard way."
