Yesterday (Sunday) evening, a bus driver called police to report that someone was throwing rocks at buses along the road between Nazareth and Yafa an-Naseriyye. The thrower had damaged the caller's own vehicle, and possibly others.
Police undertook both regular and undercover work at the junction throughout the night and found a youth throwing rocks at a patrol car.
The suspect, an 18-year-old man from Nazareth, was arrested and will be taken before a court today.
