Haaretz journalist Amira Hass, who has previously expressed her sympathy for rock throwers and called terror attacks in Judea and Samaria "legitimate," how now published a new story against IDF soldiers. Hass moved the Arab city of Ramallah several years ago.
In her latest article, entitled "Is the IDF planting knives in Palestinians' hands?" Hass asks the reader to forgo any sympathy for IDF soldiers trying to walk the fine line between protecting Israeli civilians and not unduly harming Palestinians.
Among Hass's remarks in the article are statements such as "An international volunteer said that he had not seen any knife in [a terrorist's] hands, but IDF pictures showed a knife next to the body. Obeido was shot from the distance of at least a meter. Could the soldiers really not manage to wound him?"
