The Zionist Union responded with fury to the government’s intentions to make budget cuts within every single government ministry.
“The government tried to hide the cuts, but was forced to hold a transparent debate on budget changes, as per the Attorney General’s orders. It is ridiculous that at the last minute, the government is making cuts and dramatic changes to the budget that it prepared itself six months ago,” the party said. The Zionist Union further stated that the coalition factions are making the cuts in order to distribute the funds to sources close to them.
