A resident of Nativ Ha'asarah, near Gaza, returned home from a trip abroad today (Friday) and found that his roof had been pierced by a Kalashnikov bullet.

The head of the Ashkelon Regional Council, Yair Farjoun, commented on the incident by saying that "A single bullet or a series of bullets has the same potential to kill. We expect the security system to uphold its promise and immediately make a defensive wall for the communities on the border of Gaza."
