MK Stav Shaffir (Zionist Union) responded to the EU’s decision to label Israeli products and claimed on Facebook that “The right-wing government sold the settlements in exchange for a long slew of financial favors from the EU long ago.”
According to Shaffir, “The State of Israel signed many agreements which include clear legal separation between the sovereign State of Israel and the settlements. They were not signed by Hitler, not by his friend the Mufti, but rather by the State of Israel and its leader, Binyamin Netanyahu.”
