As the United States marks Veterans Day, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his wife Sarah on Wednesday visited Mount Vernon, home of America's first president George Washington.
The Prime Minister and his wife paid homage to the first president, met a veteran and participated in a memorial ceremony.
"It is very exciting to stand in this place, to pay tribute to the first president of the United States who was a great commander and father of the nation," Netanyahu said.
