MK Michal Rozin (Meretz) criticized the Internal Committee for allow Bentzi Gopstein to participate, despite being removed from meetings three times.
"The Israel Knesset today gave a platform to the head of the Lehava organization, Bentzi Gopstein - a fascist terrorist who continues the path of Kahana and who uses racist and violent youths in a wild and distorted form of Judaism," said MK Rozin.
She continued, "Instead of defending democracy, the committee head Smotrich chose to silence civil groups and to remove most of the MKs from the committee, in order to give a criminal the right to speak. This is the democracy of the coalition in the 20th Knesset."
