The Supreme Court will look into an appeal by Yesh Atid about the numerous ministerial positions held by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. Prime Minister Netanyahu currently also serves as the Foreign Minister, Communication Minister, Economy Minister, and Regional Cooperation Minister.
The government has asked the Court to reject the appeal, claiming that "The situation in which the Prime Minister has taken ministerial positions on himself in additional to his own role, is fitting with the constitutional reality that has existed in Israel since its creation."
