MK Ksenia Svetlova (Zionist Union) has asked for the Interior Ministry to hold an emergency discussion, after several of the people who organized a protest against the gas bill were arrested.
"The freedom of expression and protest are two of the fundamentals of democracy," said MK Svetlova. "The public has the democratic right to disagre and it is our ethical and professional responsibility as elected leaders to allow it."
