Givat Ze'ev Regional Council head Yossi Avrahami blasted Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon for charging Monday that "thugs" had taken control of protests against the demolition of the Ayelet HaShachar synagogue.
"I strongly protest his words and the defense minister's accusations against the synagogue's worshippers," Avrahami said. "These delusional, unfounded and baseless accusations tarnish the good name of the synagogue's community numbering 400 families as well as all residents of Givat Ze'ev."
