The Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday morning that nine Israeli backpackers trapped at the bank of a river in Bolivia were rescued from the area and are on their way to the country’s capital, La Paz.
The nine became trapped after the raft they were traveling on overturned, due to heavy rainfall.
