UK Defense Secretary Michael Fallon says that Britain cannot rely on its allies to protect against ISIS attacks. Instead, he urged legislators to push for British airstrikes against the jihadist group in Syria.
Earlier this week, London denied reports that it was no longer seeking parliamentary approval for operations in Syria. Several newspapers had reported that this was so due to the failure to obtain enough support from the opposition.
